Consultative Committee Training - Intro to CC/the basics

This training session will focus on the changes for Consultative Committees as a result of the DOSCEL and Victorian Catholic Education Agreements. It is designed for employee Consultative Committee Reps to understand what the changes mean for their school setting and how to get your school's Consultative Committee functioning and ensuring the consultation is occurring.

Under these Agreements, Consultative Committees are more important than ever – and staff Reps on their Committee are now entitled to a day of paid training leave every year.

Work with IEU Organisers and other Consultative Committee Reps to develop your skills, learn about your role and consultative procedures, and return to your workplace with the knowledge and confidence to ensure that everyone has a voice.

Participation in the day is fundamental to your role as a Consultative Committee Rep and your attendance is strongly encouraged.
