While exploring leadership styles Principals will also learn firsthand what the union members are being trained about in their own work in Consultative Committee. Principals who take part in this program gain a front row view of the IEU Consultative Committee training provided to their staff. Effective consultation underpins positive school culture and shared decision making. It values staff expertise, builds trust and supports smooth implementation of change.

This course explores why these committees thrive in schools where there is genuine staff buy-in and face challenges in others. It encourages leaders to reflect on how they influence communication and collaboration within schools and helps them manage change more effectively.
