Rep Training: Conflict resolution

Register now via Member Access

Location:
FEU Conference Centre
120 Clarendon Street, Southbank

This full-day program gives Reps the practical tools and confidence they need to handle workplace grievances and resolve conflict. Using case studies and structured problem solving frameworks, participants develop skills to support members, communicate effectively and apply procedural fairness in complex situations.

Elected Reps have the right to paid leave to attend union training. This entitlement strengthens industrial literacy, and the IEU encourages every Rep to take advantage of this opportunity to develop their skills.

Skills & Outcomes

By the end of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Enhance union presence in the workplace.

  • Identify how individual grievances can influence collective responses.

  • Articulate and apply the concepts of natural justice and procedural fairness.

  • Examine how the process of handling grievances upholds the principles of the union.
