Support for fair bargaining at over 11,200 as 181 workplaces clear 50 per cent!

Support for fair bargaining rights continues to grow across Victorian Catholic education.

Petitions of Support are continuing to pour in from schools and workplaces across Victoria - with over 11,200 supporters amongst staff at employers not covered by our Single Interest Authorisation application.

At MACS alone, over 8,300 petitions have now been counted.

This extraordinary response demonstrates the determination of Victorian Catholic education staff to secure the same basic bargaining rights enjoyed by workers elsewhere.

Last week, we celebrated 140 workplaces where a majority of staff had signed.

That number has now grown to 181!

The competition for a place in our diocesan Top 50 is becoming incredibly strong. Every workplace below has recorded over 70% per cent support.
