PD Webinar - Supporting students with ASD 

This course will present an outline of the condition of ASD or Autism Spectrum Disorder. The presenter will explore some of the characteristics that are associated with the condition,  how students with ASD might display those characteristics in a classroom setting or in a small group situation, and how the condition impacts on student learning. The presenter, an experienced teacher and leader will share some of the strategies that they have used when working with ES staff to support the learning of students with ASD. The session will offer ideas for ES staff to use with students and classroom strategies that could be implemented to improve partnerships between ES and teaching staff to achieve the best outcomes for students with ASD.
