PD Webinar - Managing challenging conversations with parents

Education Support staff can be the first point of contact for parents and caregivers, who may be feeling high levels of anxiety or frustration with the school or workplace. Parents and caregivers may also be unfamiliar with school processes. This can lead to difficult and challenging conversations. This session will outline the social and emotional competencies needed to manage difficult conversations with parents and will explore proactive strategies to create a positive climate for interactions with parents. The presenter will focus on practical skills to manage these difficult conversations.
