Dyscalculia affects a student’s ability with mathematical concepts and calculations, and they will struggle with problem solving and mathematical reasoning. Teachers can use instructional practices that maximise the learning outcomes for students with and without dyscalculia. In this session, Judi will outline typical indicators of a student who is experiencing dyscalculia, effective strategies for supporting the student in the classroom and highlight specialist organisations and resources that can be accessed for further support.
