PD Webinar - Strategies to increase student engagement

Classroom Management and Student Engagement

There are many reasons why a student may struggle to engage with regular classroom work. It can then be challenging to work closely with these students and encouraging them to complete work can be problematic. This session is designed to provide practical strategies to cater for students displaying disengaged behaviours. Exploring some of the underlying causes for disengagement will ensure that you can provide appropriate feedback while also building on productive working relationships with the students. The presenter is an experienced classroom teacher who will be able to share advice about continuing to build good communication strategies between the teacher, students and the Learning Support Staff to create a positive and inclusive learning enviornment.
