Emergency Teacher/
Casual Relief Teacher

Casual Relief Teacher rates of pay are one dollar more than the rate provided for a Level 5 Teacher under clause 17.5 of the Educational Services (Teachers) Award 2020, as varied from time to time, which is inclusive of a 25% loading. This rate increases in accordance with the Fair Work Commission Annual wage review, which normally comes into effect each July.

Note: under the CEMEA, Emergency Teachers were renamed Casual Relief Teachers.
